[OS:N:] Using Open Source Instant Messaging

I have a jabber server set up. Using gaim as the client on Linux and psi
as the client on Windows. I like it better than any other IM out there.
Plus its fairly easy to add plugins that others have created. Haven't
tried anything like you're talking about yet though.
